Camp Planner
Resources Camp Hire, an industrial camp and catering services provider, hired me to develop a user-friendly drag-and-drop camp planner in order to easily provide quotes for custom camp configurations.
I designed and built the planner using jQuery and jQuery UI. The planner has various features, including dynamic object property modification, collision detection to determine whether an item should be indoors or outdoors, and item rotation. Each plan is stored on the server as serialized JSON, and the planner also emails both the customer and the provider with the plan link.
